Car hire excess insurance is a form of insurance to protect a driver from the costs of vehicle rental excess costs and is available in both single and annual policy type. Should a rental agreement have an excess payable in the event of an insurance claim a policy holder (or one of those named on the policy) would be covered for these costs.
There are various levels of cover available when renting a car with different companies offering their own tailored cover choices (sometimes even more than one). With a policy from ourselves, the level of cover available is more comprehensive and at a reduced cost.
